I have no idea who the "Doctor Who"'s are but I will admit the wonderful art cards you made about them are really perking my interests

the Sixth Doctor has about as much fashion sense as I do...minus the big polka-dot tie.

Ooooh, I so rarely see nice art of the Sixth Doctor. He is delightful! I love your de-saturated non-retina scarring treatment of his coat, and the huge tie at his neck. It's wonderful to see cartooned chibi-style drawings done this well!

You've caught their varied uniquely Doctor-ish ways very well.

::makes fangirlish goo-goo eyes over David Tennant art::

You will be selling these at Otakon I hope?

I will fave it, but that Sontaran is wrong. You have drawn the most recent design while Colin fought the silver space suit wearing ones.

"Wrong", in this case, is highly subjective. I'm opting for newer versions of the alien and monsters to try to appeal to newer fans who may not know about earlier doctors. Hoping that blending the two will get more folks to give the older stuff a chance. Besides, find newer Sontarans are more fun to draw. Let's call it "creative license", shall we?

You'll probably pitch a shit-fit when I draw the Cybermen with Doctor #2 (though I'm considering doing both the old and new to try to satisfy everyone...it's just a matter of fitting them all onto one card).

Oh, fair enough. I do adore the newer designs and of course it up to you what you do. I'm a fan of the older designs though and the Sixth Doctors interaction with them are some of my favorite episodes. As you were doing each Doctor I assumed they would have forms of aliens or enemies to do with that particular Doctor. The Weeping Angels were the main villain of the 11th Doctors first two parter(and a fantastic one at that), 10 is the only Doctor to have interacted with the Adipose, 9 is the only Doctor to interact with the family Slitheen, 8 got his obscure alien and 7 got the wonderfully odd Kandyman. And, how can Patrick Troughton not get an original Cyberman? Eerie, eerie things.

And the probability of me pitching a shit-fit are slim, the last one was far too messy for all involved.

I'm still wrangling with the idea 'cuz Troughton SHOULD be with the original Cybermen...or at the very least, the later designs that are still from Mondas (and most of my friends who are REALLY hardcore Doctor fans agree), but I REEEAAAALLLY like the new ones. X.x

And ewwwww.... :P

It is completely up to you, by the looks of it the Cybus Cybermen are considered just Cybermen in the newest series. Maybe the Cyber Controller from The Tomb of the Cybermen? It is a weird design that only ever reered its long brain during Troughtons tim as The Doctor. But for what little worth my opinion has, it is still up to you.

And, I had to defeat your shit-fit comment, it was the only way I could think of doing it and I'm sorry.

He wanted to wear a black suit to reflect the sixth doctors darker disposition but the current director forced the bad taste coat onto him. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the look but he looked amazing in the black suit. He was even willing to comprimise and wear the bad taste coat over a black suit and still they said no. And don't get me started on the last season he wanted to do, it would of been a shining gem on top of what many consider a pile of poop.

[link] Someone took the time to make a figure of him in it from the existing line of figures.

Actually, whiel the series was in a state of having no tv series, they released far more stories through books and audio dramas for the 8th doctor. If you take all media into account, 8 has the most stories. The graphic novels were fantastic and his audio stories are well written and without budget problems.

Yes he did, about 4 chunky graphic novels worth. I've got 3 of them but I cant find the first one anywhere. They keep doing comics but the more recent ones are sub par compared to the ones from the 4ths, 5ths, 6ths, 7ths and 8ths ones. 6th even takes the piss out of the bbc screwing with his time as the doctor.

I still say that the fifth Doctor had the strangest fashion sense, and that is NOT just because of the celery!
