Anime USA "Honor and Duty"by *kevinbolk

Promotional art I did for Anime USA, an awesome little anime convention Nov 18-20 in Washington DC. I believe this will be used on their website.

Since the theme this year is "Honor & Duty", which is meant to celebrate folks in public service...firefighters, police, military, etc, I drew inspiration from (or did straight interpretations of) famous patriotic posters and illustrations.

This looks pretty sweet. I can't help but think of that new show about firefighters (although by now it's an old show) where most of the characters where white guys who never shaved.
