Up next in my expansion set of "Lovely Lady Mascot" art cards, we have the Chicken of the Sea Mermaid who appears of every can of Chicken of the Sea tuna.

This is how she looked from her debut in the 50s until 2003. I gotta be real with you guys, I HATE the way she's drawn on the can now. Terribly dull and unappealing to me. Hope they change her back and soon.

Funny story: when I was a little girl, I loved her design so much, I had my mom make an outfit like hers for one of my dolls! As you can imagine, the little girl in me was so sad when they changed her design. I love your drawing of her, it brought back those memories!

Wow, she did have more style back then. She sort of appeared to have chicken feathers on her in the early version - that's what made her cool. The one now is kind of plain.

Wow, this one is defintely my favorite so far! Such lovely colors! Haha, too perfect for me, I LOVE mermaids AND tuna! I had a tuna melt for lunch today. XD
