Continuing my series of art cards based on the '80s Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. This time it's Eric the Cavalier, the @$$hole of the group and probably the most interesting character in the series IMO. XD

This cartoon was part of what made it "Saturday Morning" for me in High School :aww: (yes, some of us highschoolers watched stuff like this. BraveStarr, Smurfs, COWboys of Moo Mesa, Bugs Bunny, you name it). I recognized this immediately. :D Nice work on all of them. (and the S2bL series as well and Trigger Star. Keep up the great work! And your own "Mascot" is really cool. :painter:)

Sad part is, the only reason he was created that way was because the executives in the '80's believed in unity and tried to keep the moral that the one who doesn't follow the crowd is always wrong. Besides in hindsight he was the most realistic of the 6.

"Hello, Cavalier." :3

He's a cutie. He and Presto were my favorite characters.

I like the bold colors, simple lines, and how you manage to convey so much (complaining) character. Nice job! ^_^

Agreed. That crossed my mind when the show first came out.

Cavalier! My fav character by far. :D

He had great lines and some depth to his character. His reactions/feelings were more realistic considering their situation. I also found him the most interesting as I always love the morally ambiguous characters! Seems to be quite popular, despite his attitude. He was the reason I watched the show, for sure. And what a cool role - "cavalier"... Go Eric! ^^

PS: Absolutely fantastic expression, btw. Captures his attitude perfectly.

(I thought I wanted to see handsome Eric -- like your handsome Hank, but NOOO... this is the true Cavalier. You totally nailed him, man.)
