KevinBolk, You have no right to intrude on the sacred practice of pooping on your best friends carpet! For centuries this has been despised by the world...But yet when pets do it, they are not subjected to dirty looks on the street[results may vary]! Well I say no more! So I hereby say I, and those who will join me, Go out and poop on all our friend's carpets to make a stance in our ways! Remember, it's ONLY carpets. Don't poop on their tiles or wooden floors. That's just gross and mean.
Churches don't earn money, they take it by intimidating people via quoting Malachi 3 : 8 out of context. It's a crime. Tithe is meant for foreigners, orphans, and widows (and Levites, technically). Not Pastors. (though Levites is probably refering to Levite priests)
I'm not Christian, but I think most charities are horrible. The money doesn't go to the people that need it.
A lot of people need financial, medical, and other forms of help, and I plan to help them in the future, but these organizations misuse the money they receive from people that mean well.
as a conservative person, I believe that the bible clearly states that all these things are our constitutional rights. clearly, this is because I am either inbred or uneducated and not because of any logical argument or valid belief system as evidenced by my thinking differently from you.
There's a progressive Christian blog on Patheos (The Slacktivist) that detailed a similar concept, dubbed the "Anti Kitten-Burning Coalition". The idea was that downward comparisons can be used to promote the feeling that one is especially moral or righteous compared to other people, even when the downward comparison isn't grounded in reality (i.e. practically no one condones kitten-burning or kitten-burners, so expressing strong public opposition to kitten-burning does not demonstrate that a person is more morally enlightened than most people).
I love how you expressed this so well in just five panels! The body language and facial expressions are perfect for the words.
Most of those are real laws anyway so whatever. As long as it doesn't get too out of hand like bully people over morality or execute people for every supposed "wrong doing". Like the rogue cops from Magnum Force, the killer from Seven, and ancient civilizations that executed farmers over bad harvests. Just remember the golden rule "don't do to others that you wouldn't do to yourself", and nothing else matters. But even that can be debatable... Besides, porn artists/cartoonists out there do run into a moral bully every now and then yet we're talking about mere doodles. lol
