Got the idea for this piece when I was in Philly's chinatown last month and got my first exposure to "Peking Opera". The character was originally supposed to be Peach, but really it could be anyone under that make-up.

It's an assault to the eyes like candy is an assault to the teeth. Hope you guys like her regardless. XD

I just adore how every object used as a decoration fits exactly where they would on a real costume. This is very well done and detailed, while still keeping a cute, Mario like feel to it!
Not to mention the colors are gorgeous! Very nice work!
