Or "How to make any remotely skilled digital artist cry."

This was the art for one of the slides for my "10 Things I Hate About Webcomics" panel I put together for Zenkaicon 2011. The idea behind the whole thing was to poke fun at common webcomics tropes, cliches, and/or bad habits and to help new creators recognize them and then either avoid them or exploit them.

This slide went with the "Horrible Misuse of Image Software" segment. It was hard to do and even harder to look at. I tried to remember back to all the mistakes I used to make when I first learned Photoshop and crammed them all into one horrifying mess. Can you spot them all? XD

Oh, and for the love of Godbeard, DO NOT FAVORITE THIS IMAGE. If this makes it anywhere near the front page I am MURDERING THE LOT OF YOU.

Ok, I'm too much a softie to do that. I will just die a little inside and gently weep onto my tablet. You wouldn't want to make me cry, would you?

BTW, the "Asian Princess Kevi-Chan" drawing for this image was taken from this comic...

Yep....I see this in toooo many galleries, some done by people about as old as I am...sooooo sad. TT^TT You forgot the dreaded maple leaf and grass brushes, but I guess you covered that with the birds up there.

There's nothing wrong with the grass brush, when it's done right, like you did (very lovely, btw). I actually use it myself here and there. It's just when people just slap it onto their canvas without care or size or direction, like the maple leaf one; that brush could be done right too, it's just that many don't care enough to.
I believe this is what I was trying to get at. Im sorry Id insulted you :(
