-Oh, the cameos. I think it's pretty obvious who the the four gentlemen in the middle are supposed to be, but for the 3 people who might now know: Cloud from Final Fantasy 7, Legolas from Lord of the Rings, Alucard from Castlevania, and Inu Yasha from some anime I don't remember the name of.
-I was really proud we were able to come up with food pun names for all those guys, even if 'Eel Goulash' was a bit of a stretch. I've had folks ask why we used food names for all the characters in this comic. Honestly, I don't remember. Guess it just seemed like a good idea at the time.
-Anne Rice is the author of the "Lestat" series of vampire books (Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned etc). She was the de facto queen of vampire writers before a certain someone came along and wrote that book about the sparkly ones.
-Yes, the shopkeeper is exactly who you think it is.
-Had to throw a Spink in the background we the other things on the shelf. Don't know what they are? Check 'em out here: [link]
-In the original comic, there used to be a pikachu on that shelf in the last two panels as well. I removed it because the ears looked like they were popping out of the back of the shopkeeper's head. My composition sense 5 years ago was sloppy to say the least. 9.9
-The last line wrote itself as it's something I would never even THINK to say in any circumstance. I kinda just let Avacado's unrepentant asshole power take the wheel. It's definitely something my dad would say though. XD
-The original comic was done March 31 2006 Words, Pencils & Color by Me, Inks by Roxane
