-And so we introduce the fan-favorite supporting cast. I'm actually really proud that Trigger Star evolved into a series where the sub-characters totally outshine the main one (I see it as a subtle form of karma).
-The background colors are red, purple, orange, and blue; the bandana colors of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was thinking about their introduction from the first episode of the classic cartoon when I colored this.
-Breadbun and Snacktray were meant to be direct parodies of Aerith and Tifa from Final Fantasy 7. They also fall into the Bimbo/Bitch character trope. This wasn't originally by design but as I started to work with these characters, I began have fun with the idea.
-Saurkraut was designed after a very good friend of mine who was a former marine and built like a tank (and probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met). I basically gave him boobs, long hair, lipstick, and a stray whisker and thus Saurkraut was born. She's actually become one of the studio's favorite characters.
-Corned Beef Hash was based loosely on Jim Kelly, famous for his roles in Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon and my favorite guilty pleasure, Black Belt Jones.
-All the characters were specifically designed to fall into certain fantasy, cultural, and storytelling stereotypes/cliches but turned slightly on their heads, in some ways that we have yet to reveal in the series. Looking forward to surprising a few of you guys before Trigger Star meets its end.

Someday you have to do a strip pondering the mystery of how busty toon women manage keep their breasts in those little tops no matter how violently they move.
Just curious, if Breadbun and Snacktray are based off of Tifa and Aerith(Aeris?) which is which? My brother saw this and guessed Breadbun was Aerith and Snacktray was Tifa but I guessed the other way around. So which is it D8 I MUST KNOW NOW!
I like the comic, the victor hugo sign outside the character shop made me laugh.
