-The "Mormons" bit was for the sole purpose of alliteration. At no point do our heroes battle anyone from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Thankfully, the few Mormons who read this comic have had a very good sense of humor about it.
-Stuckey's is a roadside convenience store chain (basically truck stops) found on highways throughout the United States. They started out as a pecan stand and are famous for their "Pecan Logs". All the Stuckey's I've been to have been filthy and terrifying hence why our supporting cast react in horror at the idea of going to one (though Ye Ole Waffle Houses are just fine).
-This is the first Trigger Star stripped inked by Sarah. Her lines are a little thick and heavy handed at first but she gets a lot better as the strip progresses. To this day, her inks are a lot cleaner than mine.
-The original comic was done May 19 2006. Words, Pencils & Color by Me, Inks by Sarah
Wow. The mention of Stuckey's put fear behind Sauerkraut's eyes. It must be pretty damn bad.
Though I wonder how many people responded to that in joke the way Snack Tray did. Having no such store in my neck of the woods, my reaction was similar.

Hash's look of horror is hilarious.
